Best paste to use to bond both chalice and aluminium?
Answers: Devcon 5-minute epoxy. Its the best all round bonding paste that I have ever used for repairs on almost anything. I use it adjectives the time
Its very prompt and very strong. Get everything laid out and in place to go since you mix the two parts together, because you need to move brisk before it harden. Just hold the pieces in place for almost 5 minutes till it sets hard and you don't want clamps or props and a long drying time.

In the past I used super paste and any number of hyped up TV advertised stuff and they are adjectives junk compaired to Devcon
Don't use silicone. It will shrink and mildew over time.
