What color would go with tan furniture in a living room?
Answers:
"Tan" being a neutral, accepts, coordinates, and contrasts well enough with many colors. The choice is as personal as you wish it to be.
Tan can work well with Red or any variation of that color.
Same can be said of Green, Blue, Black, even darker shades of brown.
Get a color wheel, or at the very least go to a Paint store of Home store and look at sample chips, and/or pamphlets that show rooms painted in specific colors.
One of the best qualities of "paint" is that it can be "painted" over.

I recommend looking at a darker blue for your walls. This depends on both the color of tan you have and on the lighting in your room, but blue really is a nice color for walls. Try a textures paint, you won't regret it.
light peach color.
ooh, a green would be nice! An earthy, mossy one!
white, all blues, rose, any brown, earth tones, deep greens (my favorites), indian reds, regular reds, burnt orange, peach, black, yellow accents are ok with greens.
Tan is a good neutral color and accomidates about anything except grays (you CAN mix grey and tan, but its' difficult). Certain shades of purples may work, but you have to really be careful I think.
Burgundy, navy blue and forest green. Any combination of designs works.
brick red will go perfectly.Navy blue also has a great match.
you could have a darker or more pail tan colour or you could have a pail caramel or pail/dark orangeand yellow it dose look good. hope it looks nice.
Peach and sage are a beautiful combination, accented with white. Gives a rich overall look.
