Can I put new ceramic tile over old ceramic tile in a shower?

Answers:
You don't want to do that... take down the old ones and put the new ones up. Much neater installation and better water holding tendancies.

NO!
NO!
no. scrap the old ones first. would you put makeup on makeup?
no u have to take the old ones down
no it will fall of.. you have to strip the old tile and if your old board is ok sand it down to put the new ones up. if not id recommend cement board for the new job...
No! If it were possible you would have a worse nightmare than you may already have. You may also have water damage behind the old ceramic and that is the main purpose you remove the old and put new tile on. Also you will more often than not, if there is water damage you will have to install Duroc which is a cement board that is especially made for that type of jobs. On this there are no short cuts it's like life.

yes, if you want to simply replace the missing tiles. No if you simply want to put the tiles on top of old tiles.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...
No. Professionals take out the old tile first before installing the new ones.
No way. Just rip out the old ones and install Durock and retile on the Durock. Remember- there should be no grout joint in wall tile!
nope, cause is going to fall.....remove the old one and replace it with the new one...sorry.
