When installing granite countertops will the seams be visible when the install is complete?
Answers:
All in the eye of the beholder.
In most cases, a competent granite professional will not make it immediately visible to the eye. Though obviously under close inspection you'll see (no matter what anyone tells you.)
It really depends on the particular granite (pattern, color) also as a more consistent pattern will be easier to disguise while a gradation/flow pattern might be difficult because of the lack of continuity.
Given your counter is 28' (largest I have ever encountered) and the average slab is 9-10ft long or if you go prefab (8-9ft) you will end up with 2-4 seams. Good luck and make sure that your installer keeps it consistent.
Ask for references to see their work. Hope that helps.

Not if done professionally, a granite paste is used to seal the seams and once polished they are not visible.
not if it is done right. My husband and I own a tile company we install all. Good luck
i have a countertop too, the seams are invisible but you need a good one to do it for you and you can ask the professionals in that matter.
Hi,
I have seen counter tops with seams that showed and have seen a couple where you had to look hard to see the seam.
Depends on the installer. Agree with them up front that if you can easily see a seam they will fix or replace it or refund your money
