am making curtains and made a mistake cutting what can i do to hide the error?

where did you make the mistake? in the middle? top or bottom? you could applique something over it, and do the same thing on the other curtain... if it is too short add a contrasting fabric and do the same thing on the oter curtain.

It really depends on where you cut it- at the top, at the bottom, in the middle, ect....
Need some more details and what type of fabric is it and does it have pattern on it?
I assume you have a problem with the length. Get another fabric that complements the color of your curtains and sew it in as a border trim. You may choose a neutral color for the trim, a shade darker than the original color ar a tint lighter.
