Whats the least possible expensive bearing to fence a 12ft room, and enjoy it still be private?

We have a amenable den that is 12ft x 12ft but it one and only has three walls, we want to adapt the den into a more private room. What is the best way to do this short breaking the bank?

Thanks! :-)

Answers:    A room divider or a yard goods curtain would be your least expensive option. A little more expensive would be to "build" a wall of bookcases facing which ever direction you'd like and later hang art as if it be a wall on the blank side.
Studs and sheetrock are the least expensive wall construction. 12 studs and 6 sheets of sheetrock is what you'll involve, along with a prehung interior door. Moulding for the stand, and around the door will add a bit more. Price it out at your nearest home improvement and see. This is assuming you can construct it and cassette and float, texture and paint the sheetrock. I put up a 12' wall dividing to make an extra bedroom for smaller number that $100 last March.
