Microsuede is really durable. I have two small boys and it's excellent even with their terror on it!

vinyl and heavy canvas most likely. but neither are very comfortable. corduroy is nice and any fabric especially for upholstery will hold up well.

black leather,very comfy and goes with any decor or mood
Anything man made. Stay away from natural fibers like cotton & silk.
