Size of house, type of paint, more than one color, shape of siding--repairs needed etc.---hours involved to do the job, materials required--paint, caulk, nails, sandpaper, pressure washer, take a close look, figure paint coverage, if it will need more than one coat---consider liability for messing up plants or patio furniture, what kind of windows---old ones to be regrouted and cleaned or new ones. Learn all the aspects of it and go from there. Years ago I charged materials + 40%, labor at 20 per hour and depending on the house, 1 story 500---two story 1k. Watch look and listen.
