how do you like the furniture in Hecht/Macys?

I think it is great. But you are paying extra for the name. Did you know that you can buy furniture if you know tha make and model for near wholesale on the internet with like the Shoppes of Carlolina or Batista. Check them out unless you have money to burn.

I live in Maryland and they have a store called sofas sofa sofa's and they have really good prices and alot of different styles and colors. Also try the Roomstore.com that is where we purchased our sofa and they will have great sales for the Labor Day Weekend. Hechts/Macys furniture is a little pricey for me...Good luck. There is also a new fabric out called MicroSuede very very nice and easy to keep clean!
