Who does the best job in binding carpet to make into rugs ?

I live in Livingston County, in Michigan

Answers:
Actually almost any store that sells carpet will do a great job binding the carpet because they all use the same process to do it. Just remember that the carpet that is sold in rolls generally has a backing that is unkind to other flooring surfaces. It will wear down the fiber of wall to wall carpet over time as you walk on the binded carpet because the backing is so abrasive. It will scratch vinyl floor or wood flooring, too. It won't do much damage to ceramic tile, however. That is why I always recommend using a carpet pad under a binded rug and securing it with two sided carpet tape to prevent damage.
