cons of vinyl flooring?
Answers:
Vinyl is a good option. I used it in my laundry room. Its very durable and water resistant. It doesn't really dent, at least the ones I have bought in the past never dented. There are many cool colors to choose from.
What ever you do, stay away from vinyl with a pattern indented on it. Dirt does get trapped there. Vinyl can look dated if you buy the typical vinyl, like the patterned type. I have found that a solid checker pattern can look really cool and modern. Hope this helps!

Vinyl is ok if you're sick of carpeting and can't afford the other stuff. Have you thought of maybe doing a little at a time? Actually I don't even know if you could do that (I don't know much about it really). But I know that vinyl can also be annoying. We had it in our kitchen and bathrooms. It was very difficult to clean. Dirt would get stuck in the little grooves and I would get down on my hands and knees with a scrub brush to get it really clean. A mop just wouldn't do it. Also it tore easily. We had a dog that just destroyed our laundry room by tearing it up.
