What would be some durable oriental-style bedding?

I really want to create a zen bedroom. I'm going to need a blanket or quilt. It be recommended that I get fresh silk. But that is expensive and not too durable. I hold 2 cats!

Can someone recommend some oriental style bedding that would be more durable?
