I have two antique wooden Coca-cola crates. Anything creative I could use them for?

One of the crates I want to hang on the wall to display shot glasses I have collected on trips to other states. The other crate has slightly bigger holes (probably held 1 liter bottles). I'm not sure what to put in it. I want to stay with the popculture theme. Any ideas?

I also have some of these old crates and beings that I don't want them broken, I off set them in my family room and use them as my CD holder. Then I have another on my kitchen table that has a few flowers on one side an on the other are salt, pepper and then some napkins. But I only use this in the summer months as it just looks tidy.
