New laid runner get a few lumps within will it flatten out?

we have not long laid a carpet within little girls room all is fine but it have a few bumps in it no thing how much we try to flatten it they are still there will hey flatten out by themselves

Answers:    Call the mat company, they need to stretch the hearth rug and retack it.

Unless you're missing a couple of family pets....
If broadloom runner is properly installed it should be stretched tight. Call the installer back ASAP and hold it made to lay flat. If it is lumpy it won't go flat. There might even be refuse under the mat.
