I have yet to experience any cons, personally.
Bamboo is durable, and when processed for flooring can be as beautiful as any other.
I'd have it in my house.

The pros are the expense - they are cheaper than other wood floors, they are also a renewable resource - as in bamboo grows faster than timber for hardwood floors, and they are very durable. The main con from what I hear is that they need protection from direct sunlight, as it can change the color of the floor.
I imagine they are the same as any prefinished flooring product.
if it is a pre finished out of the box floor you will be o.k. with no problems.if however it real bamboo and site finished, then you may have to watch it closley for about the first year, as bamboo in it's natural state is round, the real bamboo floors have a tendency to want resume their natural shape and they may begin to cup...as a contractor dealing in luxury homes i have seen bamboo cup many times. so be sure to get as high grade wood as you can afford...better yet stick with the pre finished bamboo as the factory puts on so many coats of poly that the wood cannot cup
