In the bedroom. That way, you can still access it, even if the bathroom is in use by someone else.
The moisture and humidity from the shower and sink may not be the best thing for your clothes and other items that you store in your closet. Have the master closet separate from the bathroom. Practicality is the basis for the answer you seek. Good luck!
Ideally it should be in a separate space of it's own, providing room for dressing too. If this is not possible, it should be next to the room providing most room for dressing including full length mirror.
I would have to agree with answerlady. Also put an extraction fan in as well that way all the odours from your shoes will be sucked out of the house.
That's a personal one.
If you have your closet in the bathroom - one person can sleep in undisturbed while the other gets ready. If you have the proper ventilation in your bathroom and the closet is not very near the shower - moisture should not be a problem.
If you have the closet in the bedroom - moisture is almost never a problem but the efficiency of the morning routine may not be as straightforward.
My personal favourite is a walk through closet to bathroom - imagine a hallway - closet with bifolds either side - to the bathroom. You could have a door to this "hallway" on either end - from the bedroom or to the bathroom. For me, that is a great way to integrate the two design points.
