I'm looking for low shelves to go within a bedroom for a 15 year old womanly. Mostly they're going to hold books, video games, and dvds. I want the shelves to be large plenty though to hold other things. Ideas?

we went to home depot and bought simple white shelves that bracket on to the wall at any plane. They were smooth to install and hold a lot of stuff. You'll obligation a corner if you're stacking books, though, or bookends, because they don't have sides, they're only just shelves.
