Alternative uses for crib bumpers?
Answers: You can sew elastic on it suspend it longways and hang it on the wall and use it to hold things resembling towels, blankets, diapers or anything you want. You could also make different sizes and use it to hold little shoes, stuffed animals, anything that you stipulation handy but don't want it to be in the path. Use it near the shifting table. You could sew on some pockets and some wide springy combination and use it for lots of things for many years. Good luck. Cut stale the ties and hang it on the wall or inside a closet door. Have fun!!
A valance for your skylight, so your window treatment will game your bed set.
Or as bumpers around your change table.
Or sew two of equal size pieces together leaving top lone open and every so repeatedly sew a line up it (approx.5" apart)...you immediately have diaper pockets and you can hang down this on the wall above your change table.
In my grandson's nursery, we've set aside one corner of the room for an approachable play area. You could do something similar and possibly use velcro strips on the wall and the bumper, to soften the nouns. If you attached the bumper very low on the wall, it could sort the area a bit softer for the baby/toddler, and also protect the wall from toys. Hhmmm.....I might own to go gain another bumper myself. Good Luck!
