Answers: If this neighbor is sharing an adjoining wall, you can try any getting heavy textile and running it from ceiling to floor, creating the look of a window near the curtain drawn. Another idea would be to sway quiltes on that wall. If you could attach something permanent, they trade cork squares, you could cover the wall with.

Are you renting or do you own your apartment? If you own it, check out sheets of gib (I give attention to it is called sheetrock surrounded by the US) - there are lots of types and some are designed for nouns proofing. You can install these over the existing walls or ceiling, and perhaps join an extra layer of fibreglass insulation as resourcefully.
