I am making a Candy Theme Christmas tree this year for my kids - - I am stuck partially path through -?

What else can I use to keep the area. I am finding it very thorny to get the summary of a candy tree when you first see it. I need more decorations. Right immediately I have candy wicker fabric bows - dough cookies that are painted red and white - candy cane - a few sparse decorations that look like candies - snowflakes made out of gumdrops - and that's it......any other concept?? Looking for mostly red and white....
Thanks

Answers:    Oh this will be really cute and the kids will love this project, it is an instant tradtion. Buy a lot of those clear chalice ball ornaments and hold your family out to the store and tolerate them pick out candy that they can put inside of the glass ornaments (make sure you take ones that you can take the top stale and put it back on) try adjectives sort of candies like m&m's skittles gummy worms juju bead jolly ranchers. Go crazy next to it. Kids love it and if the candy is small and round you can empty out the ornaments and use them subsequent year. (gummy worms do not come out so don't use them unless you are will to throw the ornaments away after the holidays.) if you color cordinate the m&m's it can look really pretty.
I did the candy cand theme closing year and I used red/ white striped ribbon and weaved it within and out among the branches.
