i have these four beams on my ceiling leading to the center of room look like they're there for a reason why?

the beams look like molding but they are wood a they meet a triangle in the center it was here when i moved in what the f@##$$5k is this i'm in st louis by the way

They might be holding your ceiling up, but then again they might just be decoration. You will have to have a professional come look at them to tell you if you can take them down.

they are load bearing do not move them part of the truss of the roof
They are probably holding up the ceiling. Do you have an attic so you can go up and check? They are probably attached to a roof rafter.
I would not mess with them, they are most likely there for support
I did a job one day and it had some type of wood beams just as you described. come out to be that i pulled them off . They were there for some deco. They could be embedded in the ceiling half of the stud. Maybe if your not sure what to do, just laminate over it with half inch sheetrock. Screw it right to the wood on the ceiling leveling then all around.
