yes you should get a really apt coating of primer on them..we went thru this surrounded by the bathroom we painted...any time you put primer on you want a good coat..it save you the hassle of multiple coats of painting
Primer is purely that, primer. It is a coat of flat paint that allows the finsh coat something to "stick" to. In short go ahead beside your finsh coat. You might LIGHTLY scuf with sandpaper to present better adhesion. Another little PROs tip two or three thin coats are WAY better than one starchy coat. So, don't get hasty and try to finish too soon.
