What is the best passageway to renovate/redecorate a kitchen?
Answers: Flooring first as it should extend lower than your base cabinet, then paint and wallpaper so you don't risk dangerous your new cabinet, next install the cabinetry, consequently tile the back splash, finally install desk light fixtures and decorative items. Good luck!
If you plan on putting up a 'splash board' above sink or at the back stove for easier cleaning, do this before your cabinet. Because our kitchen has various doorways and a window, we did not want to paint or wallpaper periodically and established washable. We put up 4' X 8' washable and decorated boards throughout kitchen first. We considered necessary ceramic tiles so tighted adjectives flooring boards with wood screw and did tiles second. Wall & base cabinet third. Window trim, hook ups (sink, garbage disposal, wet filtration, dishwasher, etc...) curtain rods and baseboard trim, seal above counter, electric switch plates & outlet plates finishing.
We also added counter against 2nd wall. One base cabinet built up superior prior to permanent installation. Other portion of counter over 2 bed cabinets be bolted together & put on wheels to utilize as island or doesn`t matter what.
Well first you remove all the items you would approaching removed.
Second you will build any sofits or structual upgardes ,rewire , new rough plumbing, Hang drywall or do your wall repairs.
Thrid you will Prime the entire kitchen (paint) use tinted primer if you will be going beside color on your walls
Fourth you will hang your top cupboards
fifth you will involve to install your ceramic underneath your bottom cabinets so they are resting on your floor. At least run a row or two undernieth and use wood or some entity else to get alike height for the final of the cabinets.
Sixth you install your underside cabinets
seventh you will finish drawing with your final coats
eighth you will finish running adjectives your rough plumbing and wiring install adjectives fixtures, counter top, sink and faucet , and backsplash if desired.
ninth you will finish installing your floor
tenth you will need to install adjectives you baseboard and casings around doors and window. If your trim is going to be painted trim you must install your trim before you paint near your final coat. and then paint your trim first after ceiling then walls and use blue stroke on all painted surfaces. Or you can loaf to apply your finish coat of paint at the end of your project on adjectives surfaces that may need painted but it will sustain if you have a professional do it at this time.
If you are replacing the floor, paint first, after you don't have to verbs about spills and drips and tarping. Primer (tint the primer to meeting your paint -KILZ- and paint, trim too, then subfloor, next floor, then cabinet, but not the sink cabinets because you want to put contained by your backsplash first, if you are using one, then sink cabinet, next countertops, then plumbing which includes the kitchen sink/garbage disposal and hookups for the dishwasher if you are installing one.
