I'm painting my kitchen cabinets. The walls are mahogany wood. What color do u think the cabinets should be.

If the walls are stained a more brownish color, then light blue looks fabulous. If the walls are closer to the natural color of mahogany, white would probably look the best, and use bright accent colors elsewhere in the room.

a light color maybe white chocolate. It worked aout for my friend. So it was pretty good and their house was photoed in a magazine good housing.
I would go with a very light creamy yellow or a light rose or even a shade of blue....which ever you like best.

Definatly a medium powder blue it looks beautiful.
I agree. lighter would be better with so much dark wall. try mid-tone greys and taupes to offset the warmth of the mahogany.

A nice earthy forest green. That would look beautiful against that deep red wood.
I would go with a Ivory, remember most paint stores now have samples take home the two you like the best and do a test live with it for a week and see which ones you like the best.
