you can listen to that last guy and go to home depot, or me on the internet even quicker.. to resurface these cabinets, you need first to take the hinges out of the back of the door with a screw driver. make sure you know which door goes where though! youll probably be able to line up the door with both hinges and be able to do it that way, though. All you must do to reface your cabinets is sand them down with a 100 grit paper to get the paint off, then go over with some 120-180 grit to smooth all the wood for it to be ready for new paint. if its nice wood, you might just polyurethane it . also might apply 2 - 3 layers.. well thats all i can do to help.... used to work in a cabinet shop.... brother still does...

Head to your local Hardware Store. As I recall, larger places like Home Depot sometimes even offer free classes in woodworking, or at the very least have suprisingly knowledgeable staffmembers.
The best way to find out is to just go and ask... You'd be suprised how much you can find out.

Home Depot won't have a class in cabinet refacing however they do sell a refacing system that includes a video. They sell the pressure sensitive veneer and all the door and drawer fronts to reface the cabinets. It is special order but I've used their system for a client and some 4 yrs later it is still beautiful and the client still loves it.
