How should I prepare a room to use a Paint Sprayer?

I have to paint the walls in my parlour and would like to use a sprayer (the room is rather large) how do I prepare the room so the floor and walls and trim aren't affected.

Thanks!

Make sure you have plenty of ventilation or use a respirator because you will have heaps of atomised over spray in the air and you don't want to breath that in. secondly use a drop sheet after you take out everything that's removable, use masking tape to mask up door jams cover window glass and mask-up because there will be over spray everywhere otherwise and you will need to use a razor blade to clean it off which will be a pain in the bum.

take everything out
take everything out
Remove all items you can. The remaining items will need to be covered and well taped with plastic, i.e. windowns, doors, and any fixtures that can't be removed. Other than that, I don't think there is anything else we have ever done when we paint other than to cover the carpet.
yes take everything out & cover the rest !
Remove all furniture and anything you don't want painted you will have to cover, including the windows, woodwork etc. You will also have to put covers over all doorways to other rooms to prevent the over spray from going into other rooms, this is very time consuming, it would be easier to just roll the paint on as spraying is messy.
Remove everything, cover or tape everything else really well. Are you sure you want to spray? You're brave.
