And they moved my fridge next to my stove (for more kitchen space) and made this nice wooden cabinet that go around my fridge... so i cant move the fride anymore. But they failed to imagine about my insubstantial switch! so it was disappeared behind the refrigerator! so when i want to turn on the pale i have to lean over my stove/counter and draw from a long (15 inches) spoon and try to aim to hit the switch to turn on/off the light! what can i do? I do not know anything nearly electrial but might have someone give support to me... i was thinking that i could attain a new muted with a verbs chain but havent found any nice ones... and my sis said it looks impossible to have a verbs chain night light in your kitchen... any suggestions?
Answers: If you have a contractor do the work, including the design and floorplan work in the kitchen, I would contact them and complain. If they has-been to consider the light switch when designing and installing everything, they should fix the problem.
If not, hail as an electrician or handyman to move the light switch to a better location. This may require the removal of some drywall to access the walls, which will have need of to be replaced, and then retextured and repainted.
