What are good wall hanging for over the bath tub? Where do you buy them?
Answers:
I actually use fabrics and inexpensive tapestries. I treat them with a product called DampRid to protect them from mold and mildew. I try to make my own wallhanging from washable fabrics usually glued together pieces to make a simple image llike a fleur de lis. Aileens has a washable fabric glue that works well, but I still treat the fabric with mildew protectorant each time I wash it. Home Decorators catalog and online has some inexpensive tapestries.
Wooden items also work well. I've purchased masks from Pier1 and Cost Plus that have been hanging there for over 8 years and they do fine.
Other answers:
Do you mean a shower curtain to keep the water in the tub area and not on the floor? Big department stores carry a lot of different shower curtains, and many are very, very nice. Some are fabric, some are plastic.
Or do you want something pretty just to hang on the wall? I'd avoid anything very expensive as a bathroom gets very damp and artwork could be ruined.
Stores to check out: Penny's, Sears, Kohls, Walmart and more. Here's a website with shower curtains: Would you recommmend IKEA?
