Decorating- Look at these pics- trying to coordinate furniture. Help!?
I really need a coffee table to coordinate, but I want the genus that lifts up resembling a desk- they are awesome!! Unfortunately, they don't have frequent to pick from in distressed black. Our couches are microsuede sage w/ the dark brown legs. Walls beige.
Would it look uncoordinated to hold a walnut brown table? I know designs aren't matchy-matchy anymore, but I don't want it to look tacky.
Here's a pic of the entertainment center: www.aspenfurnituregallery.com/images/I47...
This is not the table (style or anything), but will bestow you example of color:

I'm sure anything "looks fine" but if I'm spending the money, I wanna get it right and want it to look biddable. Any other color ideas? Just black?
Your design help out is MUCH appreciated! Thanks
Answers: okay, first of all tremendously nice... you have my appetite and style.
Going with a brown stain coffee table is immaculately fine. The pic that you offer is model in color of stain. Don't be in motion much darker than that so they don't look too cumbersome. The honey tones will look nice against the black it adds contrast.
Use black appurtenances on the coffee table. Such as a larger candle stand of wrought iron and glass near a colorful candle inside, or a grouping of candle sticks in varied sizes in black near colorful candles. tie the black together with the trimmings, same with entertainment center, may find a brown storage picnic basket in like brown tones as table and use on entertainment center. Black is very impartial, so you won't be tacky.. Remember, contrast contained by textures, colors, and fabric adds interest.
