Probably not, it will still look lighter in the middle. But you could try it earlier you toss it out. Buy some RIT dye and do it in your washer. Just spawn sure you run an empty cycle formerly you wash any point else or you will end up next to discolored clothing. Be careful, biddable luck.
what a shame. if the rug contains synthetic fibers, it likely won't steal the dye. if it's cotton, i'll work, but the color may not be even.

Put it in the sink next to warm dampen and some bleach. let it bleach out to a uniform color, rinse and afterwards dye it any color you like. When using dye, put contained by strong salt dampen after dyeing, this will make the dye set. Or you can put the saline in the dye after it have set to the color. Rinse with heat up water and consent to dry. I did this to my new swim suit that get bleached out in a hot tub. Navy blue top and infant blue bottom, yek!! Bleached out the top to match, and the dyed the suit, looks polite today after 15 years.
