Help with Bathroom?
I know you have to use a type that would do fine in a room that has moister and steam.. But, I can't think of what type you can use.
Answers:
The gloss or sheen, is not neccessarily relevant to your question. If your situation has presence of steam, moisture consistently, then what you want is a paint designed to be mold/mildew resistant. Ask at home center, although you may have better luck at a 'Paint' store, such as a Sherwin Williams, or Valspar dealer. They will have exactly what you need and will give you specific application instructions. These have proven very successful.

Kitchen and Bath paint. It is mildew resistant!
You do not have to use an oil based enamel anymore. Use a latex semigloss enamel and it should be fine. If you used an oil base previously you should sand the walls lightly before painting so the paint will adhere. Good luck!
You may want to try sponge or bag painting it comes out really neat.
