Last summer, I was featured on the cover of the Seattle Post Intellegence Newspaper for my exceptional interior design work and expertise with ebay. I designed my first commercial space at the age of 18 which was featured in my local paper and design magazines also. Im 20 now. I decided to write to HGTV, and they said they would be interested in writing a feature on me. I was interviewed via the phone, the article was written and all that needed to be done was the photos of the rooms. I contacted the appropriate people, and they told me they would contact me when it was time. They never did (after like 5 months) So I emailed them and they told me
"I was going to tell my photo editior to call you, but..." "We have postponed your piece. Please let us know if you do any other design in the future."
So they basically dumped me? I was looking so forward to this, I feel like my life is going down hill, I was doing so good. I feel trashed.
Answers:
Don't feel bad. The network schedules on TV change frequently, people come and go. Maybe the person you were talking to for reassigned to a different project. Give them their sweet time, and they will probably get back to you, as soon as the project is off their backburner.
