i've just grouted some limestone mosics contained by my bathroom. I'd thought i had removed adjectives grout residual prior to sealing, however contained by some areas i've noticed a street lamp grout smear. Is it possible to remove this and if so what product would be appropriate for such stone.

You should be able to remove it next to a damp sponge. That one said, I found that my French Limestone appeared hazy after removing adjectives of the grout, so I used a stone cleaner by TileLab that is sold by the Home Depot to remove that film successfully before I hermetically sealed it.
