Which way should a fan blow?
Answers:
It is a matter of personal taste or feeling. My wife likes them to always blow up, I don't really care. Some folks like them to blow up in winter and down in summer.
Do what feels best to you and don't worry about it.
Other answers:
Down in summer, up in winter.
I know heat rises & cold sinks so you might think the other way but in the summer you want to feel the breeze and in the winter you don't.

It's the other way around.
up in the summer, down in the winter.
The reason is because is in the winter, you want to blow the hot air down (heat rises).
Clockwise, air blow from upside and pull it down
A cieling fan always blows down unless you have fitted blades in reverse way
First answer is a clue, I'd like to expand on.
Heat rises,,agree???
If you wish to draw heat away from the floor or mid area of a room, have the fan PULL it up. If you wish to direct cooler air down to you,,,in season,,, have the fan PUSH it down.
Remember this however. The action of the fan, in doing what it's designed to do, either pushes that air toward the ceiling, where it will be deflected in the opposite direction, or it takes the air from above it and does the same, recirculates it.
The main purpose of a fan is to cool or in a vague sense, warm, people, not rooms.

the right way
You want it to blow the air; to simply get the air moving & circulating. I live in the South. It should push the air down.
