I have friends from when I was 4 years old. We get together and go to a motel and spend the night yammering after a decadent dinner out and have a bottle of wine and snacks and poop out when we are ready. Her ideas on interior and yours will always be different---don't cause stress with different ideas---just have some fun and quality time for you and your friends.
A woman's 50th birthday is one of those life defining moments in her life. Make her Queen for a Day ...spend her special day celebrating just her - not what she does. I think a full day at a wonderful full treatment spa, including a massage, manicure and foot spa treatment would be very special.
