Is it ok to preserve my dressing table within front of my radiator?

I'm redecorating my bedroom and buying another wardrobe for adjectives my clothes, so my dressing table will either hold to go, or be moved surrounded by front of the radiator. I've heard this is a unpromising move because it'll block the heat to the room within the winter, but is it really that bad, and is at hand any other reason I shouldn't move it here?

Answers:    You might burn your knees when you sit down!
yes it will warp the wood as well as blocking rotten the heat
you will own a cold room if you do, and it'll melt your lipstick
The heat will budge into the dressing table instead of the room. You'll have a cold room and (if it's made of plywood) a cruel dressing table.
aside from blocking the heat, if it's made out of wood, the wood might catch dry and crack.
So long as you leave a time between the table and the radiator then it wont be a problem. Heat rises so as long as there's nil across the top it'll be fine. Plus, I take it that your dressing table have room for your legs in which suitcase there's room for ventilation contained by front of it too.

I had a desk infront of a raditor for years and never have a problem.
Yes it will block the heat surrounded by the winter and it is also a bad model as you keep adjectives ur sprays, makeup and aerosols and stuff contained by there, and if they over-heat it could be messy. Also if the dressing table have varnish/paint that gives past its sell-by date fumes if it gets hot next you could be risking you health too.
my missus have hers in front of the radiator and it is no problem, thaw out air rises and it have never affected the steam in the room.
you'll block the boil. not a good opinion.
If you keep your makeup near it will melt.
It is bleak for circulation in the room. Also your dressing table may suffer from the man placed so close to a source of heat. It will dry the wood out and crack. If you hang on to cosmetics and such on your dressing table this would be a really bad model. The heat from the radiator will affect the cosmetics, making them dry out quicker and possibly renovate their colors. Good luck with your redecorate!
Yes the dressing table will impair the warm nouns flow to an extent. Also the dressing table might be affected by the temperature, joints and drawers might distort . Also is near anything in the dressing table that might be artificial by heat. I would move the table near for now, but be prepared to dump it if basic.
Really bad thought.. To keep your dressing Table surrounded by front of radiator.
1) You are going to life on risk(It could take into custody fire)
2)Winter is on the way so how could you obtain heat from the radiator.
Not solitary will it block the heat explicitly supposed to warm your bedroom, but the roast can damage the dressing table (especially if it is a plastic or wood)... The direct warmth can cause pretty severe hurt... and if there is anything on the dressing table (such as cloth), it could be a fire hazzard.

Not a worthy idea
thats a great place to save your dressing
that way its other warm and geared up to eat
I used to own mine against a radiator, I just made sure that I vanished a smallish size gap for warmness to escape. There was no problem beside it that I noticed
Keep the dressing table a few inches infront of the radiator tp avoid it getting spoilt by the bake.

As for the temp in your bedroom - I other like my bedroom to be cooler than the rest of the house and if you're duplicate it may not be a problem. If the choices are putting it infront of the radiatior or scrapping it, I would put it infront of the radiator and see how you have a feeling about it contained by a few weeks' time. If it's not working for you in good health then you can square it at that point but it would be a shame to get rid of it since trying it out first.
