What would be a suitable course for me to design my room?

i am 14 and i would like to re design my room more sophisticated. what would be a virtuous way to design (paint color??) i hold quite a sizeable room and a queen sized bed. and also i would like to sway some artwork in my room. i am not relatively sure what to paint it, i only enjoy 1 small window and my bed room is surrounded by the basement.


Answers:    Go for heat up colors since you're in the underground room. Blues perhaps? Or, my daughter have a brown and blue room- her rug has blue and gold ingots flowers and a brown background which is really cool. Get a "pottery barn teen" magazine and win some ideas from that! I'd hang up fun lamps and put up a ton of pics of you and your friends- put together a picture wall! Also, my daughter has white christmas lights hung around the border of her room which make it look really funky. Have fun!
i think you should paint your room blue or red, and move your bed into a corner and suspend art work all over close to any artwork you like.
