Decorating ideas for a room painted in dark fuscia?
Answers:
I like gold or a dark mustard color.A pewter color would work as well.Rich colors need subtle accents. As far as wall art,oil paintings either in abstract or with a French theme would really make a statement.Avoid any bright colors that would detract from the deep tones. If you want a splash of color, try fresh flowers such as star lillies or tulips.Your accent pillows for your bed can have a little color as well.Have fun and experiment!!

Repaint the room in a livable color.
Depends on if the room is fuschia, for which I'd recommend emerald green, lilac, camel and even a pale dusty rose color. I guess I associate fuschia with more a tropically themed or contemporary design style, Potted palms, dark bamboo or wicker accents, Hemingway inspired accessories and a mosquito net draped over the bed.
If it's burgandy, then I'd go more with traditional type furnishings and wall art, although I lean more towards New Orleans style decorating with the jewel-toned colors, wrought iron wall sconces, etc. To brighten up either space, make sure to use a cream or white background on any chosen fabric ( bedding, picture mats, etc) and even window treatments using yards of sheer fabric draped simply and framing the windows. Again, I'd go with minimal, but well chosen decorative pieces and potted palms. Hope it helps.
Contrast it with pale pink
If it's burgundy you can do a flag theme (USA-red, white, blue) magnolias are pretty as well.
Fuscia, you could do grapes if the color isn't too pink. Mardi Gras otherwise with masks & beads. An island theme would be good too with the sunsets etc.
