ABOUT How much to finish a Basement Floor?

I have a basement that leaks from the ground up and if i dont plug the pump in it will flood but even if i do plug the pump in the floor gets wet from the cracks. I need to know what to do to seal the floor or something so this wont happen. The basement was once kept up with a couch rugs ect, but when the old tenents moved out they "FAILED" to tell us we needed to connect a pump..

So 2 sum it up.
1) What do i have to do to seal the floor myself?
2) How much would it APPROX. cost to get it done!!

I have Approx 1000sq. basement floor!!

First thing you need to do because nothing will bond to mositure some how dry it out appox 30 days can be done faster with a blow heater you can rent some places will rent for 1/2 day. Than to seal it use concrete stain they say 450 sq ft per gallon this is only ture in cases where something does not soak it up bad.dont Buy 3 gallons try to put on two coats than seal the cracks with, Daps silocone ( clear ) but apply the concrete stain first and let dry for walking on.*

Note: You can get this stain in many colors the reason i said use clear silocone last is because no kind of paint will cover it but this is a good sealer back with a warranty. Cost just supply appox do it yourself under $200.00 this is not this rental price of a blow heater stain around $30.00 a gallon silocone around $6.00 a tube than extras always keep in mine something extra such as how many cracks do you have to fill this is way i priced it higher than supply cost.
