When i artex my ceiling i would resembling to build the hose down droplet effect i can do the sharp spikes etc?

I saw one of those property programmes on TV and it said that the best way to de-value your house is to use Artex whether on ceiling or walls.
It's very ancient fashioned these days. (Ask Sarah Beeney!)
this is generally done with a flat wad with rubber bristles
