I painted my basement floor 12 years ago beside oil-based paint. I need to repaint it tremendously badly. I am currently using solvent base dry-lock paint on walls, as I did 12 years ago. Since we are now approaching winter and I can not initiate windows what and how do you suggest I paint to minimize toxic odors. The dry-lock odor is disastrous. Thank goodness I am almost done sculpture with it. Can I use the onion trick to resolve odor issue and what roughly speaking open flames on furnace and hot hose tank. Should I paint next to polyurethane, solvent base. Can I paint over floor near latex? I am very concerned more or less the fumes in an roofed environment and the durability of water base latex paint. It has other peeled for me.It seem just not durable ample for concrete. Should I seek an nouns venting and purification system at local rental service, if one exist, and use a durable solvent base paint? I am stuck....I could really use some solid feedback from a real pro. I look forward to your reply...thank you.
