it depends on what color blue and what color your furniture is, but i think white or reading light yellow would be nice.
I would do white or light brown. When you have a room near a bright or loud color, then you'll want to use nuetral colors for other bits and pieces in the room. I close to white because it looks clean. You could do white curtains beside white sheers behind them (or beige). Dark brown also looks really appropriate with blue, depending on the shade of blue!
anything i.e. bright and contrasting would be pink, red, or yellow. if you want a subtle color, next choose black or white.
