Install laminate tiles over clay tiles?

Answers: That might not be such a good view. First you have to consider the concentration of the tile then laminate? Would formulate the cabinetry seem short! It's best to prepare the floor for the product you want to use. If you prefer laminate to tile, you involve to take up the tile. You wouldn't hold a very professsional look if you put laninate on top. HAJ
I would not lay laminate over tiles for oodles reasons.
I would deem it is best to remove the old tiles.
You mentioned how they are cracked right?
The cracks can worsen and affect what is sitting on-top.

I suggest taking out the tile previously you lay the laminate. Even though it may SEEM easier, if the tile is rough or uneven surrounded by ANY way, the laminate won't lay correctly and/or look only just plain funky.
I would take out the prehistoric tile, laying laminate over earthen tile is never a good thought. You can lay ceramic over laminate but it's really best not to do it the other passageway around. Your results will not be satisfactory. Taking up the clay isn't that hard, only break it and scrape it.
not a well-mannered idea, the expansion and contraction of the laminate would soon bring probs. take up the infirm tile!
Not a good perception. You need to steal up the old tiles, install a strange sub-floor, and then install the tentative tiles.
All I can say is: its probably not a great impression to put it right on top. It becomes more promising for it to come up. And then the process of taking up a division of laminate and a layer of terracotta tile would be that much harder when it came nearly. I think the individual way to net that work without taking up the earthenware tile is to make an nouns tight seal between the 2. I couldn't provide you any ideas on how to do that though.
you should really pilfer the old tiles up.... yeah! big brief... but well worth it .
lay down a solid sheet of plywood and screw it down dont staple it. then apply your laminate tiles orrrrrrrrr better still more clay tiles. they shouldnt crack if you have a solid surface down first.

Rip up the stoneware and start from scratch. A sledge sledge hammer should help.
In direct to lay laminate tile you need to own a flat surface. Since tile doesn't have one, you'd own have to lay down some sort of resin to cram in the cracks and to get it flat. Then place the laminate on top. That's a real aching. You'd probably be more successful in digging up the outmoded tile and placing laminate on it once it's removed.
If you mean laminate flooring, i would NEVER use laminate flooring within a bathroom. One little bit of water would ruin it.
Putting a laminate floor over tile is a bit close to trading a Rolls Royce for a Volkswagen.
it's possible but it would be easier to crack out the ceramic tile and lay the laminate tile directly on the floor. if the earthenware is damaged, it will a short time ago be damaged lower than the laminate. pull out the prehistoric tiles, use a crowbar. repair the wood floor with concrete as nails floor repair goo. a moment ago fill surrounded by the imperfections within your floor, making it as smooth and even as possible. it is about 5 bucks a tube at home depot. it sets up over hours of darkness. then lately lay the laminate over it
if i were you i would def. hold up the old tiles afterwards sand down the floor to get a nice flat surface. Then when lay the laminate make sure that once its down bring something hard that you can push unyielding from the middle out to the walls to get the atmosphere bubbles out and such. Good luck!
