I would approaching to update my linoleum bathroom floors. How can I do this lacking pulling them up?
Answers: Hi. There are many floors that can be properly installed over existing linoleum IF the antiquated floor is not loose.
You can install sheet vinyl or vinyl tiles over the old vinyl by nourishing the old model with floor patch beforehand gluing down the fresh flooring.
Ceramic tile can be installed without removing the prehistoric vinyl. It is necessary to use a cement board underlayment however.
Laminate floors can be installed over elderly lino regardless of its condition. Most laminate is not recommended for bathrooms because of its sensitivity to moisture. There are some laminates though that will hold up all right in bathrooms.
Hardwood can also be used. but face the same marine issues as laminate.
