How can I get paint off my hardwood floors?

Answers:
It depends on the type of paint and the type of finish on your floors. Please test each of these remedies in a corner where no one would notice.
1)For latex paint you could try gently rubbing with a wash cloth. If that doesn't work try a drop of rubbing alcohol on the spot and rub again. Also try a drop of vodka (yes vodka) on the spot. The alcohol in vodka make it a good paint remover.
2) For latex/enamel paint you might try "goo-off" or any other chemical designed to remove the sticky goo left by price tags. Again only one drop and this time put the drop on the wash cloth before rubbing.
3) If all else fails, use a putty knife to try and scrape the paint off. I suggest a plastic form of putty knife - and be very care full to not damage the floor.
