what's the difference between a whirpool & a jacuzzi?

Answers:
I own both. Jacuzzi is not only a licensed brand name, they have patented jets and technology that no one else can offer.

Whirlpool is just referring to a jetted tub that is not a Jacuzzi. All others, be it Kohler, American Standard or Whirlpool brand make jetted tubs that can be called "whirlpool".

That said, all are good, all feel great - just get as many jets as you can afford, with the strongest motor. Lots of jets don't matter when the tub has no power to move the water.
