The majority of color in my living room is a dark green. Suggestions on wall color and curtain color? Thanks

An off white, or tan color would brighten it up, depend what other colors your dealing wiht and if you want a really dark room or not.

I'd go with an egg shell color for the walls and choose somethig for the drapes that has a design with a coordinating green color. Accent with solid color pillows for your couch of various colors to bring everything together.

Curtains (3) shades darker than wall you can get a paint clip at your local paint store.
Ralph Lauren makes a paint color called "Brown Paper Bag". I know it sounds awful but it is a beautiful rich shade of beige almost the color of coffee and cream. A girlfriend of mine painted her living room in that shade and it was very warm and inviting. It would look great with dark green. Also, Pottery Barn carries a line of curtains. There is a gorgeous chocolate colored raw silk that would compliment the combination beautifully. (I think I just made myself crave a cup of coffee and a Hershey bar!) Sounds like you love green. It is a colour that goes with most any other. If you have another color that you like, go with that but in a shade so light it almost looks white. This brings another colour into the room. Then look for drapes that combine the two colours but reversed (lightest of greens with a darker version of the wall colour.) If you aren't really into another colour and don't want blah white, you can do the same with ligthest green, but then drapes should be in light greens and two or three shades.(But none as dark as the dark green you already have.)
Beige , brown, canary, ivory are all good colors to choose from. I recently bought new linens and did not think I could make the green with any other color but these colors look great. I looked online at target.com and walmart.com and saw different pictures with these colors in it. Try going to your favoirte website that sells furniture or house funrnishings and see what colors you see and like.
