Living room skylight is 124 inches broad, what to do going on for curtain rods?
Or, what would you suggest?
Answers: how about an extension rod? Can 2 be put together? How something like going to a speciality store?
I found a place to order them. These are solid steel and gorgeous. Kinda pricey, but worth it. My porthole is only 88" though, so I rewarded a good bit smaller quantity than you will.

i have thew same problem my fanlight is 130 inches and had to foot extra when i needed the window replaced. any opening buy drapery rods. you can get them longer and if you want to sway curtains instead of drapes just whip the eyelets and pull cord sour and hang curtains on. that's what i did.
You should know how to get extentions for them, I hold before. (Check J.C. Penneys) You'll a moment ago have to append in more support brackets for that long of a length. If it is not one continuous glass, and just several right subsequent to each other, you could simply buy however many rods for the window you do have, and mount them right subsequent to/butting up to each other. Depending on what type of curtains you enjoy and the hooks they take, you might also know how to just stretch a cable really tight, and put in supports under it every so repeatedly to keep it straight. That would be the cheapest route probably:)

buy a dowel rod and two cute ends, paint or stain to your attachment. the wall hooks come with the ends that u pick. home depot, lowes, any hardware store.
Go to a home store,Lowes or Home Depot type, and buy two ornate 6 foot wooden rods, three wooden brackets,IE one for middle and one for each fall. Join the two rods with a pole connector screw[has thread on both end]. Saw bad extra length from each expire to make proper length. Remember ,you usually want rods to extend departed window roughly 10 to 12 inches so you may not need to cut anything rotten. To finish, add attractive finials to each wrapping up of rod. Finials usually have screw already in place. Real inexpensive route, buy twelve foot piece of PVC pipe,2 or 3 inch diameter, attach with metal L brackets, trademark finial out of styrofoam ball covered beside fabric. Leave a tail of yard goods and insert in extremity of pole, may need to paste to pole. Paint or cover pole with textile.
I have two eleven foot window; we bought PVC pipe , cut it to fit the windows and used angle irons to hold it up (ends and center) It costs almost (roughly) 2 dollars for a 10 foot piece. Put a wooden dowel in the center to hold the two pieces together and cement it to stay in place.
You can also receive angled PVC fittings to make the pipe (rod) stick out from the wall. Hope you can twig this.
