White or wood cabinets with Pergo floor?

We already have a Pergo floor in our kitchen and adjacent family room. We're getting new cabinetry... should I go with off-white, painted cabinets to get a contrast with the "wood-look" floor, or should I go with the wood finish on the cabinets? Wood always looks custom, nice, but would it be too much wood? BTW, we've got the Brunswick Cherry color Pergo and our cabinetry will be done in alder.

Answers:
Wood, darker color than the floor. Really looks rich with an elegant touch of class. Get some type of decor engraved into the door panels. This can get a bit heavy on your pocket book, however it will be a lasting joy. Remember you have to live with your decisions for a long time to come or spend more to make the change.

Other answers:
i think that you should definitely go with the wood. it would look really nice with the pergo floor. i have pergo in my dining room and living room, but we haven't put it in the kitchen yet. we also have wood cabinets. my neighbor has pergo in her kitchen with wood cabinets and it looks really nice.
