Im converting basement into an apt with only 2 windows. What wall color do you suggest to brighten up?
Answers:
I really like the sage green we have like a mint green in our living room and it looks great our carpet is burgundy so it matches very well. Any light spring type colors will go well. Pale yellow maybe. Or like a carmel type color.

I would go with some type of yellow..but that's just me.

Maybe sage or moss green would work well.
a light yellow would look perfect with the red and bamboo, and really brighten up the space and make it look bigger. I love yellow on walls, especially with white trim. it looks so classic.
I would go with bage or any earth tone
Pale yellow. Bright yellow is kind of creepy, but my room is pale yellow, and I'm a straight guy. My room doesn't seem to get that dark in the winter.
I think if it were me... I would use a very light shy blue. Its peaceful color and cheerful to. Thats my opinion.
I would go with the nice moss green....and try hanging maybe a few of them lantern lights up high...the higher the light the better cause it goes brightens more of an area and also add a good depth to a room. Hope that helps!
livingroom or kitchen rooms prob - i think it would be the best - bc a bedroom is a good idea - but like it would be best used in those rooms
MAYB LIKE LIGHTBLUE OR LIGHT GREEN! BUT A LIGHT PINK REALY LIGHTENDS THINGS UP!
definatley go witha green and maybe do an accent wall of a darker shade of green...it'll make it look more homey and cozy :)
The best color to use to brighten up any room and to tie together all decor is a warm tannish brown, more golden than anything. If you use a light yellowish brown on the walls, all your furniture will tie together ith minimum decorating accents needed. Go to the link and work through there.
i would go with a color called galena gold. my living room is painted this color and i have received many compliments on it. it is a really nice and versatile color. FYI..i brought the paint at LOWES. i think this color would go great with the color of your furniture. my couch is a sage color and it all blends in wonderfully.
